Sorry

I am a binge blogger. I just made four new posts today and I probably won't post again for a month. Sorry to any of you who are disappointed by the long periods of nothing. :)

Day Trip to the Zoo

On one of Branden's miracuously free days, we decided to take a trip down to the Oakland Zoo.

From these pictures, you would think my daughter didn't care for the animals at all - thattagirl! - just kidding... kind of. She actually did like seeing the animals that were out and about in their habitats. Especially the meerkats.

But the highlight for her was the train ride. She was just really tired in this picture but she was excited enough once it got going!

A Homemade Corsage?

Branden gave Nora the innards of a celery bunch one night as he was making dinner. Don't ask me why...Nora decided it would make a very pretty corsage. At least I think that's why she stuck it down her shirt.

Easter!

I'm a little late getting to these photos, but we had a very nice Easter with my parents, LIndsay and Todd, Glenn and Wendy and my cousing Nathanial.

What Does That Face Mean?

I think she actually does like popsicles, despite these funny faces?

Nora's Highly Developed Sense of Fashion

The other day I put Nora's strawberry shirt on her and she was fascinated by it. She kept going to the mirror to look at the big strawberry. The next day I put her in a rainbow shirt and kept pointing out the pretty colors all day. Today I put her in a star shirt, but she immediately brought me her rainbow shirt and her strawberry shirt and wanted to wear them all. I thought this much opinion in clothing wouldn't come along until she was at least three or so!

Bok Buh-Cock!

One night at dinner, Branden was encouraging Nora to eat her chicken. She picked up a piece and said "bok bok bok!" We were surprised that she has made that connection already. Hopefully it won't spoil her appetite!
