Our son loves reality t.v. competitions: Biggest Loser, Great Food Truck Race, the Sing-off. But his ultimate favorite is Cake Boss: Next Great Baker. He has all the contestants names from season 1 and 2 memorized. He will use his cars, his monkeys, even his clothes from his drawer to act as contestants and will pretend that they each make a cake and get eliminated one by one. And at each elimination he echoes the Cake Bosses phrase, "To the Box Truck, Baby!"
The other day we pulled out his playdough supplies and he quickly set to work making "cakes" and pretending "Next Great Baker." I brought him some green playdough, but he sighed and said, "No Mom, I want my
red velvet one."
Wow. I guess he's at least learned something from that show. :)
