Today Nora turned four and we celebrated with a "princess pirate party" inspired by the Disney show Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Beware Mateys, here come a ton of pictures!
Aunt Briana and cousin Claire came down to help celebrate and Briana, being the fabulous artist that she is, donated her skills for a few fantastic cutouts. Thank you, thank you Bri!
Pirate treasure cake!
Making pirate hats.
Izzy thanks you too, Briana!
Playing Matey, Matey, Skalliwag (Duck duck goose)
Getting ready to walk the plank in crocodile infested waters.
Digging for buried treasure (pennies in a bowl of rice.)
Briana also did this great picture of Captain Hook for our Pin the Hook on you-know-who game.
Fishing in the Mermaid Lagoon
Another Bri masterpiece
Musical islands (like musical chairs)
You can't really see them well, but Branden's pirate cannonballs (turkey and zucchini meatballs) were the hit of the party with both kids and adults!)
How Ike felt about it all!
Happy Birthday Nora Monet!
